Dr. Sasikumar

Dr Sasikumar is a specialist neurologist at Canadian Specialist Hospital Dubai with over 30 years of clinical experience, 24 of which he has spent serving patients in the United Arab Emirates. He graduated from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) in India and completed comprehensive training in neurology including junior and senior residency programs. He trained in NHS hospitals in the UK and holds membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) along with the European Diploma in Neurology.

Dr Sasikumar's expertise spans a wide range of neurological conditions and diagnostic techniques. He has specialized training in advanced neurophysiological testing including electroencephalography (EEG), electroneuromyography (ENMG), evoked potentials, videotelemetry, polysomnography, and transcranial Doppler studies. He has also completed an advanced course in neuro-ophthalmology and neuromuscular diseases, and has undertaken significant research in antiepileptic medications. He has worked as a consultant neurologist in multiple hospitals across India and the UAE.

Dr Sasikumar brings a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, having trained across pediatrics, psychiatry, neurophysiology, neuropathology, and neuroradiology. He actively participates in medical conferences and continues his professional development through teaching and continuing medical education activities.
