Dr. Abdulkader Hamad

Dr. Abdulkader Hamad is a Consultant Orthopedic and Spine Surgeon at Burjeel Barari Day Surgery Center with 18 years of clinical experience. He graduated with honors from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, and completed his orthopedic training through the prestigious Stoke/Oswestry program in the UK. He undertook advanced spinal fellowships at Salford Royal Infirmary and Manchester Children's Hospital, with additional training in Bordeaux and Dublin. He previously served as a consultant at University Hospital North Midlands, a major trauma and tertiary spinal center where he managed complex spinal emergencies and deformities. He holds the FRCS (Orth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) from the General Medical Council.

Dr. Hamad's expertise spans pediatric and adult spinal deformity correction, revision spine surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal trauma, and spinal oncology. He performs a wide range of procedures including microscopic lumbar decompression, anterior and posterior spinal fusion, cervical and thoracic decompression, and fragility fracture management such as vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty. He is also experienced in spinal injections and radiofrequency ablation for back pain management.
