Dr. Athira Jayaprakash Engoor

Dr Athira is a general practitioner with over 8 years of clinical experience in primary care and disease management. She completed her medical degree (MBBS) from Amala Institute of Medical Sciences in Thrissur, India in 2011, followed by a one-year internship at the same institution. She began her career in 2014 as a general practitioner at Shanti Hospital in Kerala, India, before relocating to the UAE in 2017 to advance her career.

Since moving to Abu Dhabi, Dr Athira has gained experience across various reputed healthcare facilities, including a clinical observer role at Sheikh Khalifa Hospital. She has developed strong knowledge of current principles, methods, and procedures in disease management and patient care. She is licensed to practise by the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi.
