Dr. Ibrar Majid

Dr. Ibrar Majid is a fellowship-trained pediatric orthopedic and trauma surgeon who serves as the inaugural Chair of Pediatrics at Dubai Health. He completed his medical training at the University of London, followed by surgical training in the UK and USA. He holds a master's degree in Orthopedic Engineering and a diploma in Healthcare Leadership and Management, alongside certifications in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery.

Dr. Majid specializes in the surgical treatment of bone, joint, and trauma conditions in children, from birth through adolescence. He brings extensive clinical leadership experience, having served as Chief Medical Officer at Al Jalila Children's Hospital in Dubai and as Clinical Lead for Major Trauma Services at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital in the UK. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and holds professional leadership roles within pediatric orthopedic organizations.

Dr. Majid is committed to compassionate, child-centered care that helps young patients recover fully and return to normal activity. As a parent himself, he understands the importance of quality pediatric healthcare and works to develop comprehensive pediatric services across the UAE.
