Dr. Shayesteh Khalili

Dr. Shayesteh Khalili is a Specialist Endocrinologist at Medcare Medical Centre in Dubai with 25 years of clinical experience. She completed her MBBS and MD from Esfahan University of Medical Sciences in Iran, followed by board certification in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. She has held consultant roles at leading hospitals in Iran, including the Research Institute for Endocrine Sciences in Tehran and Erfan Subspecialty Hospital, and established a private clinic before relocating to the UAE.

Dr. Khalili has successfully treated over 30,000 patients throughout her career. She specializes in managing type 1 and type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, thyroid conditions including hypothyroidism and Graves' disease, parathyroid and calcium disorders, pituitary and adrenal conditions such as Cushing's syndrome and Addison's disease, obesity, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), insulin resistance, and metabolic bone disease. Her evidence-based, patient-centered approach is informed by her published research and active participation in international medical conferences.

Dr. Khalili is fluent in English and Persian, enabling her to serve a diverse patient population effectively. She is an active member of the Endocrine Society, American Diabetes Association, American Thyroid Association, and the Iranian Endocrinology and Metabolism Association.
