Dr. Bejoy Philip Varughese

Dr. Bejoy Philip Varughese is a diagnostic radiologist with 9 years of clinical experience in medical imaging. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences in Kerala in 2011, followed by specialized training in Radiodiagnosis at Christian Medical College, Ludhiana, where he earned his MD in 2017. He then completed 5 years as Assistant Professor at Believers Church Medical College Hospital, a 750-bed teaching hospital, where he gained extensive experience across all modern imaging technologies including 128-slice CT scanners, 3T MRI machines, and high-resolution ultrasound equipment.

Dr. Varughese has broad expertise across multiple imaging specialties. He is proficient in body CT and MRI imaging with a particular focus on gastrointestinal and cancer imaging, as well as brain imaging, bone and joint imaging, chest imaging, and urinary system imaging. He also performs obstetrics and gynaecology imaging. Beyond diagnostic work, he has experience performing ultrasound-guided interventional procedures, including pleural and ascitic fluid drainage, needle aspiration biopsies, and image-guided fine-needle cytology.
