Dr. Ramaprabhu

Mr. Ramaprabhu is a physiotherapist with 9 years of experience and a Master's degree in Adult Neurological Rehabilitation from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore. He has held academic and clinical positions across India and the UAE, including roles as Associate Professor at Srinivas College of Physiotherapy and head of the neuro rehabilitation unit at Father Muller Medical College Hospital in Mangalore. He currently practices at Medcare in Dubai.

His clinical focus is on designing home-based rehabilitation programs for people with long-term disabilities, spinal cord injuries, strokes, and post-spine surgery recovery. Mr. Ramaprabhu uses evidence-based techniques including proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) and structured outcome measures. He has successfully treated patients recovering from joint replacements (knee and elbow), tendon repairs, sports injuries, back and neck problems, and various neurological conditions.

He is particularly skilled at fall prevention strategies for older adults and tailoring rehabilitation to help patients regain independence in their home environment. Mr. Ramaprabhu is a member of the International Spinal Cord Society and the Indian Association of Physiotherapists.
