Dr. Ruchi Baraya

Dr Ruchi Baraya is a consultant radiologist with 20 years of experience across government and private healthcare settings in Dubai and India. She joined Mediclinic Abu Dhabi in May 2022 and holds fellowship status with The Royal College of Radiologists (UK), plus registration with the General Medical Council. She completed her Masters in Medicine in radiology from the National University of Singapore.

She is skilled across all imaging modalities including CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, Doppler studies, general X-rays, fluoroscopy, and mammography. Her particular expertise lies in women's imaging: detailed foetal scans (including early chromosome screening at 11–14 weeks), pregnancy ultrasound with blood-flow assessment, gynaecological imaging, and breast diagnostics. She combines standard diagnostic ultrasound with advanced 4D imaging to assess foetal anatomy and development.

Dr Baraya is an active member of the European Society of Radiology, the Indian Radiology and Imaging Association, and the Foetal Medicine Foundation (UK).
