Dr. Engy Loka

Dr. Engy Loka is a physiotherapist at Mediclinic Dubai Hills with over 12 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal and sports injury management. She trained at Cairo University, where she earned her Bachelor of Physiotherapy with honours in 2012, and later completed a Master of Science in Specialist Physiotherapy Practice at Sheffield Hallam University in the UK in 2023. After working in governmental and private hospitals across Egypt, she relocated to the UAE in 2016 and joined Mediclinic in 2024.

Dr. Loka treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions including upper and lower limb injuries, spinal pain, rotator cuff disorders, tendon problems, ligament injuries, and jaw joint (TMJ) disorders. Her treatment approach combines exercise prescription, manual therapy, dry needling, and pilates-based rehabilitation. She specializes in pre- and post-operative rehabilitation for orthopaedic patients, scoliosis rehabilitation, and sports injury recovery.

Her patient-centered philosophy focuses on educating and empowering people to manage pain, prevent re-injury, and restore function. She is fluent in English and Arabic, making her accessible to diverse patient populations seeking rehabilitation and mobility improvement.
