Dr. Mohammad Louay Jabban

Dr. Mohammad Louay Jabban is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon with over 25 years of experience and Head of Orthopedic Services at Burjeel Medical Centres in Abu Dhabi. He trained globally, earning his MD in Medicine and Surgery from Damascus University in 1988, followed by advanced fellowships in the UK, France, South Africa, and the USA. Since 2015, he has led the development of orthopedic services at Burjeel Hospital.

Dr. Jabban specializes in shoulder and upper limb conditions, treating rotator cuff tears, shoulder dislocations, elbow and wrist injuries, and fractures using minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques. He founded Abu Dhabi's first dedicated Shoulder and Upper Limb Unit at Burjeel, providing comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. He is particularly experienced in sports-related shoulder injuries and has worked with professional athletes, local football clubs, and Formula One medical teams, using advanced methods including ultrasound-guided injections and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy.

Beyond surgery, Dr. Jabban is an active educator, conducting training for surgical teams and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows. He has created over 100 educational videos in Arabic explaining common upper limb conditions and treatments, reflecting his commitment to making care accessible to Arabic-speaking communities.
