Dr. Samar Mansour

Dr Samar Mansour is a specialist pulmonologist with a Master's and Doctorate in Respiratory Medicine and over 13 years of clinical experience. She trained at a university hospital in Egypt, where she progressed from assistant lecturer to lecturer before relocating to the UAE in 2019. She now practises at Mediclinic in Abu Dhabi, bringing expertise across the full spectrum of adult respiratory diseases.

Dr Mansour's clinical work spans bronchial asthma (including severe resistant cases), pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease, tuberculosis, sleep disorders, and respiratory emergencies. She performs comprehensive lung function testing (spirometry, diffusion studies, lung volume measurement), bronchoscopy, sleep studies, and pleural fluid sampling. She has particular expertise in managing respiratory failure in intensive care, including non-invasive ventilation and oxygen therapy.
