Dr. Lavina Verma

Dr Lavina Verma is a Specialist Radiologist with over 20 years of experience in diagnostic imaging. She holds an MD in Radiodiagnosis from Gujarat University, India, and the European Diploma in Radiology (EDIR). She completed three years of senior residency training at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi, and has been practising in Dubai since 2005, where she works across multiple Mediclinic locations.

Dr Verma has extensive experience in conventional X-rays, ultrasound, CT scans, MRI and specialized procedures including barium studies and non-vascular interventions. She has particular expertise in pregnancy imaging—including detailed anomaly scans, chromosomal risk assessment (first-trimester screening at 11–14 weeks), Doppler studies of the placenta and baby, and 4D ultrasound. She also specializes in women's health imaging, including breast mammography and gynaecological ultrasound and imaging.

She is an active member of the European Society of Radiology (ESR) and has a strong interest in teaching medical students and other radiologists.
