Dr. Mohamed Elsawy

Dr. Mohamed Elsawy is an Egyptian board-certified consultant urologist with over 20 years of clinical experience treating both adults and children. He holds a doctorate in urology from Alexandria University and has completed fellowships in paediatric urology and sexuality medicine from the European Association of Paediatric Urology and the African Regional Sexuality Resource Center. He currently serves as a senior lecturer on the Egyptian Board of Urology Council, where he trains undergraduate and postgraduate students, and has previously taught at Kuwait Medical Specialties Institute.

Dr Elsawy's practice covers a wide range of urological conditions in both age groups. In adult urology, he specialises in erectile dysfunction (using shock-wave therapy and platelet-rich plasma), penile curvature correction, ejaculatory disorders, male infertility, varicocele surgery, sperm extraction, prostate diseases, and kidney stones. For children, he has particular expertise in reconstructive surgery including hypospadias repair, buried and webbed penis correction, undescended testicles, and treatment of conditions like vesicoureteral reflux and posterior urethral valves. He also manages urological emergencies including testicular torsion, penile fracture, and priapism.

Dr Elsawy is an active member of major international urology organisations including the American Urological Association, European Association of Urology, and International Society of Sexual Medicine, reflecting his commitment to staying current with global best practice.
