Dr. Narendranath Lokare

Dr. Narendranath Lokare is a specialist urologist with over 12 years of clinical experience, currently practicing at Burjeel Specialty Hospital in Sharjah. He completed his medical degree at Vijayanagara Institute of Medical Sciences in Bellary, India, followed by postgraduate training in general surgery at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, and advanced specialist training (M.Ch) in urology at SVIMS, Tirupati. During his training, Dr. Lokare gained significant exposure in renal transplantation through the programme at KIMS Hospitals, Anantapur, and has received multiple awards for his academic contributions.

Dr. Lokare specializes in laser endourology and female urology, with particular expertise in managing kidney stones (including complex cases), ureteric stones, bladder conditions, and prostate diseases. He performs a wide range of minimally invasive procedures including laser lithotripsy, flexible ureteroscopy with laser support (RIRS), percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP), and bladder tumor resection. He is also skilled in microsurgical techniques for male infertility and female urinary incontinence surgery.
