Dr. Selima Ben Miled

Dr. Selima Ben Miled is a French board-certified obstetrician and gynaecologist specialising in high-risk pregnancy and fetal medicine. She trained in Paris and holds dual master's degrees in Surgical Sciences (Paris Saclay University) and Clinical Research in Fetal Pathophysiology (Paris Descartes University), alongside specialist diplomas in fetal medicine, fetal pathology, placental diseases, and obstetric ultrasound from Necker Enfants Malades Hospital under Professor Yves Ville. She has worked as a senior consultant in maternal–fetal medicine at leading Paris hospitals within the APHP network.

Dr. Selima manages complex pregnancies including those at high risk, multiple gestations, preterm labour, intrauterine growth restriction, pre-eclampsia, and premature rupture of membranes. She performs fetal procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling, specialises in detailed ultrasound assessment including nuchal translucency screening for Down syndrome, anomaly scans, fetal growth and Doppler studies, and fetal echocardiography. She also offers minimally invasive gynaecological surgery for benign conditions and has training in fetal surgery.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Selima is an active educator who has supervised medical research theses at Paris Cité University and serves as a reviewer for the Prenatal Diagnosis journal. She has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and been invited to speak at international conferences including the Fetal Medicine Foundation World Congress.
