Dr. Ghazy Lutf

Dr. Ghazy Lutf is an emergency medicine specialist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi, where he has built a distinguished career spanning 25 years. He holds the distinction of being the first Arabic doctor registered in the UAE as an emergency medicine specialist, a milestone that reflects both his expertise and his pioneering role in advancing the field across the region.

Dr. Lutf's clinical experience encompasses the full breadth of emergency medicine, from acute trauma and critical illness to time-sensitive medical emergencies. He has served at leading institutions including Mafraq Hospital and Safa Hospital in Syria before joining SSMC. His training includes the Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient (CCrISP) course, which equips him to manage deteriorating or at-risk surgical patients. He holds a medical degree from Aleppo University in Syria and is licensed by the Syrian Board of Emergency Medicine.
