Dr. Sara Hayek

Dr. Sara Hayek is a Consultant in Family Medicine at Medcare's Palm Jumeirah and JBR clinics. She trained extensively in the UK over nearly two decades, completing her MBBS and Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from King's College, London, and gaining specialist accreditation as a GP. Her foundation training covered psychiatry, gastroenterology, respiratory medicine, trauma, orthopaedics, ENT, obstetrics, gynaecology and urology across prestigious teaching hospitals including Addenbrooke's and The Royal Marsden. She is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP).

Dr. Hayek provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages. She manages a wide range of chronic conditions in adults—including high blood pressure, angina, heart failure, high cholesterol, kidney disease, diabetes, asthma, COPD, thyroid problems, urinary tract infections and digestive issues—alongside acute illnesses such as chest infections, ear infections, and abdominal pain. She has particular expertise in mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD and bipolar disorder. Her paediatric care includes newborn checks, baby reflux, allergies, asthma and common childhood infections. She also treats skin conditions, women's health (contraception, menopause, postnatal care) and men's health concerns.
