Dr. Safeena Kherani

Dr. Safeena Kherani is a pediatric otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat specialist for children) based at Dubai Health. She completed her medical degree at the University of Alberta in Canada in 2003, followed by surgical residency training at the University of Ottawa in 2008. She went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at the renowned Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in 2009, one of North America's leading centers for this specialty.

Dr. Kherani has extensive experience managing complex ear, nose and throat conditions in infants, children and adolescents. Her clinical interests include airway abnormalities, deep neck infections, and other pediatric ENT conditions requiring both medical and surgical expertise. She has published research on rare infections affecting children's airways and facial nerve complications.

With her combination of North American training and experience across Canadian hospitals (Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, The Ottawa Hospital, and Carleton Place District and Memorial Hospital), Dr. Kherani brings a comprehensive approach to pediatric ear, nose and throat care.
