He holds an MS in Orthopedics from Government Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, and has completed specialized fellowships in joint replacement and arthroscopy from Asklepios Orthopädische Klinik Lindenlohe in Germany, as well as spine surgery training from the Sancheti Institute in Pune. He was also trained in shoulder surgery at the University of Durban, South Africa.
