About Dr. Muhyeddine Al Taki
Dr. Muhyeddine Al Taki is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon and Chief of the Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Unit at American Hospital Dubai. He brings over 19 years of clinical experience across Canada, Lebanon, and the UAE. Previously, he spent 12 years at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, where he reached the academic rank of Associate Professor for Clinical Surgery and held leadership roles as Director of Central Sterile Services and Assistant Director of the Operating Room.
Dr. Al Taki specializes in complex orthopedic procedures including knee, hip, and shoulder joint replacement surgery; sports medicine and ligament reconstruction; arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery; and fracture management. He completed six specialized fellowships in the UK and Canada focusing on trauma surgery, advanced joint reconstruction, and sports injuries, giving him particular expertise in treating both athletic injuries and complex cases requiring minimally invasive techniques.
