Dr. Antonia Bezoni

Antonia Bezoni is an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Registered Midwife with 10 years of experience in breastfeeding and infant feeding support. She works in both hospital and community settings at NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi, providing specialised lactation care for families from pregnancy through the postnatal period. Her background spans Greece, Norway, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates, giving her a global perspective on infant feeding practices.

Antonia supports families with complex breastfeeding challenges, including those with premature and late preterm infants and multiples. She combines up-to-date clinical knowledge with a calm, compassionate approach that helps parents feel safe and heard. Her Master's degree in International Community Health (Public Health) from the University of Oslo focused on improving infant feeding practices, and she has worked at the World Health Organization (WHO) headquarters in Geneva supporting global breastfeeding initiatives, human milk use, and maternal and child health programmes.

She is committed to family-centred, evidence-based care, guiding parents through their feeding journey so they feel confident and empowered in their choices for their baby. Antonia also conducts antenatal and postnatal breastfeeding classes and has contributed to breastfeeding-friendly policy development.
