Dr. Diya Abdul Rasheed

Dr. Diya Abdul Rasheed is a specialist pediatrician currently based at Burjeel Silicon Oasis Medical Center in Dubai. He trained at Government Medical College Kannur in India, completing his postgraduate qualification in 2011, and has worked across multiple respected institutions including Manipal Hospital Bangalore and Sree Gokulam Medical College, where he served as an Assistant Professor. He brings over 11 years of clinical experience in child health and newborn care.

He manages the full range of common childhood illnesses—including infections, pneumonia, bronchiolitis, asthma, allergies, eczema, and digestive problems like constipation. He has particular expertise in caring for sick and premature newborns, including follow-up of high-risk infants after discharge. His skills span vaccination services, growth and developmental screening, nutritional assessment, and early counseling for pre-adolescents.

Dr. Abdul Rasheed holds certifications in pediatric resuscitation and emergency care from the American Heart Association (Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program), as well as specialized training in pediatric nutrition from Boston University and a fellowship in neonatology.
