Dr. Aiham Alshawwa

Dr. Aiham Alshawwa is an Assistant Professor and ENT Consultant with over 13 years of hands-on experience in ear, nose and throat medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Damascus University in Syria, then completed specialist training in Germany, where he worked as an ENT Consultant and Senior Consultant across several academic teaching hospitals, including those affiliated with Dresden and Jena universities. He is German Board certified in otolaryngology.

Dr. Alshawwa is highly trained in advanced surgical techniques including functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), laser laryngeal surgery, and functional rhinoplasty. He has extensive experience treating snoring, correcting deviated nasal septa, removing tonsils and adenoids (including laser methods), repairing perforated eardrums, and managing neck lumps and salivary gland tumors. He also performs microlaryngoscopy with biopsy, Eustachian tube dilation, and facial skin procedures including skin cancer removal with reconstruction.
