Dr. Irem Eda Gokdemir

Dr. Irem Eda Gokdemir is an obstetrician and gynaecologist practising at Emirates Hospitals Group in Dubai. She completed her medical degree at UFUK University in Ankara, Turkey, and trained in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Zekai Tahir Burak Women's Health Training and Research Hospital, also in Ankara. She has worked at several hospitals in both the UAE and Turkey throughout her career.

Dr. Irem offers a wide range of women's health services, from routine pregnancy care and delivery (both vaginal and caesarean) to postnatal care. She provides cervical cancer screening, HPV vaccination, and treatment for gynaecological infections, irregular periods, and pelvic pain. She performs laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures, as well as gynaecological surgery including fibroid removal, cyst removal, and hysterectomy via both abdominal and vaginal approaches. She also offers cosmetic gynaecology treatments including vaginal tightening and labiaplasty.

Dr. Irem holds fellowships in Minimal Access Surgery from World Laparoscopic Hospital in Dubai and in Cosmetic Gynaecology from the International Association of Cosmetic Gynaecology. She is an associate member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK). She is fluent in English and Turkish.
