Dr. Ali Al Jaberi

Dr. Ali Al Jaberi is a Staff Physician in the Colorectal Surgery Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Digestive Disease Institute. He completed his medical degree at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York with distinction, followed by general surgery residency at Beth Israel Lahey Health in Boston and fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at John H. Stroger Hospital and University of Illinois Health in Chicago—both institutions known for pioneering advances in colorectal surgery.

Dr. Al Jaberi specializes in the full range of colorectal conditions, from hemorrhoids and inflammatory bowel disease to colorectal cancer, with particular expertise in robotic and laparoscopic approaches that minimize surgical trauma. He manages complex disorders including anal fistulas, rectal prolapse, fecal incontinence, and pelvic floor disorders, and offers specialized programs in robotic colorectal surgery, inflammatory bowel disease, and proctology. He has presented research at national conferences, published in peer-reviewed journals including Diseases of Colon and Rectum, and contributed to medical textbooks.

Dr. Al Jaberi was recognized as resident of the year during training and received the Excellence in Teaching award from Tufts Medicine. Originally from Al Ain, he is now based in Abu Dhabi and maintains an active lifestyle outside medicine.
