Dr. Tamer Attia

Dr. Tamer Attia is a Consultant Otolaryngologist (ENT and Head & Neck surgeon) registered in the UAE since 2015, with over 23 years of specialist experience. He trained in Egypt, Austria, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, earning his doctorate in Otolaryngology from Menoufia University, Egypt, and completing a clinical fellowship at the Medical University of Graz in Austria. He has held consultant status since 2009.

Dr. Attia specializes in minimally invasive endoscopic surgery of the nose and sinuses, ear surgery to restore hearing and treat chronic infections, voice-box procedures, and throat surgery using coblation technology (a gentler technique with less pain and bleeding). He also performs head and neck cancer surgery with nerve monitoring to protect vital structures, skull-base surgery to repair brain fluid leaks and remove pituitary tumours through the nose, orbital decompression for bulging eyes, and removal of swallowed or inhaled foreign bodies.
