Dr. Hassan Shahryar Sheikh

Dr. Hassan Shahryar Sheikh is a Consultant Medical Oncologist and Hematologist with more than 15 years of experience. He graduated from Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan in 2003 and completed postgraduate training in the United States, including residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania. He served as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Penn State Cancer Institute and Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia before joining American Hospital Dubai.

Dr. Sheikh treats a comprehensive range of cancers including breast, prostate, colorectal, and gynecological cancers (ovarian and uterine), as well as lymphomas, myeloma, and benign blood disorders such as anemia.
