Dr. Rabee Hilal

Dr. Rabee Hilal is an ophthalmologist surgeon with over 14 years of experience focused on corneal and refractive eye surgeries. He trained at Damascus Medical University, earning his medical degree in 2005 and completing a master's degree in ophthalmology in 2010. He also holds a Cornea and Corneal Refractive Surgery certificate from Syria's Ministry of Health (2011). He has worked across leading eye centers in Syria and the UAE before joining Burjeel Day Surgery Center on Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi.

Throughout his career, Dr. Rabee has performed more than 6,000 eye surgeries. His practice covers cataract removal with lens implants, corneal transplants (keratoplasties), and a range of refractive laser procedures—including LASIK, epi-LASIK, ultra-LASIK, and femtosecond LASIK—as well as implant-based vision correction using phakic lenses, ICLs (intraocular contact lenses), and clear lens exchange. He brings particular expertise in advanced laser vision-correction techniques and complex corneal work.
