Dr. Alhaitham Mahdi Eismat

Dr. Alhaitham Mahdi is a consultant cardiac surgeon at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi, with more than 15 years' experience in adult heart surgery. He is double board-certified by the Arab Board in Cardiac Surgery and the European Board in Cardiac Surgery, demonstrating expertise recognized across two major regions.

Dr. Mahdi manages all major heart conditions in adult patients and is experienced in complex cardiac procedures including coronary artery bypass surgery (keyhole heart surgery to restore blood flow around blocked arteries), mitral valve replacement, and aortic valve replacement. He also has particular experience with congenital heart abnormalities—conditions people are born with—that present in adults.
