Dr. Ranjit Rajan

Dr. Ranjit Rajan is an ear, nose and throat (ENT) consultant with extensive training and teaching experience across leading medical institutions in India. He studied at Trivandrum Medical College and Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, then worked as a professor of ENT at Amal Institute of Medical Sciences in Kerala, as well as teaching positions at Kasturba Medical College and the Regional Cancer Centre in Trivandrum, before joining Mediclinic Dubai.

Dr. Rajan handles the full breadth of ENT conditions in both adults and children. He investigates and treats voice problems, swallowing difficulties, hearing loss, ear discharge, headaches and snoring. He performs outpatient procedures including fibreoptic laryngoscopy (examining the voice box with a thin camera) and diagnostic nasal endoscopy, as well as emergency ENT care. His surgical work includes tonsil and adenoid removal, deviated septum surgery, procedures on the windpipe and food pipe, microscopic ear and throat surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, and complex head and neck cancer operations.

His background in academic medicine and publishing, combined with his broad surgical experience, makes him well suited to patients with complicated ENT problems or those needing delicate surgical interventions.
