Dr. Sumera Nasim

Dr. Sumera Nasim is a Consultant Cardiologist with 18 years of experience in cardiology and interventional procedures. She graduated from Dow Medical University in 1996 and completed her residency in internal medicine and fellowship training in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Aga Khan University, where she obtained her FCPS in Medicine (2002) and FCPS in Cardiology (2007). She joined Aga Khan University as a consultant cardiologist in 2007 and has worked across hospitals in Pakistan and the UAE, serving as a professor and consultant cardiologist.

Dr. Sumera has performed over 4,000 interventional cardiac procedures and completed specialized training in advanced imaging techniques, including level two CT angiography from the British Society of Imaging (2018). Her clinical expertise spans interventional cardiology, non-invasive heart imaging (echocardiography, stress testing), CT angiography, and cardiac emergencies.
