Dr. Daniela Angela Alba

Daniela is a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist with extensive experience in orthopaedic and sports injury rehabilitation. She trained at Manchester Metropolitan University (MSc Physiotherapy) and Leeds Beckett University (BSc Sports and Exercise Science), and holds qualifications in medical acupuncture and dry needling as well as level 3 Pilates instruction. Prior to joining Mediclinic Dubai in 2025, she worked as a senior physiotherapist at a UK orthopaedic centre of excellence, where she specialized in upper and lower limb rehabilitation and hand therapy for both acute trauma and planned surgical cases.

Daniela treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions using manual therapy, exercise prescription, acupuncture, dry needling, and electrotherapy including shockwave and ultrasound. She has managed complex and varied patient cases with both acute and chronic conditions, and brings sports medicine expertise from her role as lead physiotherapist for an amateur rugby league club in the UK.

She is committed to a holistic, patient-centred approach to rehabilitation, helping people regain function and return safely to their daily activities and sports.
