Dr. Emeka Okechukwu

Dr Emeka Okechukwu is a dentist with a strong focus on restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He graduated with a BDS from the University of Lagos, Nigeria in 2004, and went on to earn a Master's degree in Restorative Dentistry from the University of Leeds in the UK. He is a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr Emeka has practiced across the UK, Nigeria (Lagos and Abuja), and Dubai, bringing international experience to his work at Mediclinic Dubai.

He specializes in white fillings, root canal treatment, crowns and bridges, porcelain veneers, and full mouth rehabilitation. A key part of his approach is minimally invasive dentistry—preventing dental disease and catching problems early rather than waiting for them to worsen. Dr Emeka has published three clinical papers in international dental journals, demonstrating his commitment to evidence-based practice.

Patient comfort is central to his philosophy. He has particular expertise in helping patients who feel anxious about dental treatment, using non-pharmacological techniques to make procedures less stressful. His treatment decisions are guided by the best available research evidence.
