Dr. Allan Benson A. Gamo

Dr. Allan Benson Gamo is an anesthesiologist with a passion for pediatric care and a commitment to advancing the field through education and mentorship. He trained in medicine at St. Luke's Medical Center College of Medicine in the Philippines, followed by residency training in anesthesiology. He then pursued specialized training in pediatric anesthesiology at the National Children's Hospital, where he developed expertise in caring for young patients—a population that requires both technical skill and compassionate communication.

Dr. Gamo has worked extensively across multiple anesthesia subspecialties, including general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, epidural anesthesia for labor, and pediatric and neonatal anesthesia. He has provided anesthesia support for diverse surgical specialties including urology and pediatric dental procedures. He takes pride in ensuring patient safety and comfort as a vital member of the surgical team.

Recognizing his expertise, Dr. Gamo served as Department Head of Anesthesiology at the National Children's Hospital, where he trained residents and fellows in both general and pediatric anesthesiology.
