Dr. Zarife Perez is a consultant paediatrician with over 15 years of international experience in general paediatrics, paediatric infectious diseases, and respiratory conditions in children. She trained in Spain, the United Kingdom, and Venezuela, bringing evidence-based care rooted in international standards. She works at Mediclinic, providing comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents across a wide spectrum of childhood health needs.

Dr. Perez specialises in treating infections in children—from common respiratory infections like bronchiolitis and pneumonia to more complex conditions including meningitis, bone and joint infections, urinary tract infections, and fever of unknown origin. She has particular expertise in childhood respiratory disorders such as asthma, recurrent wheezing, and exercise-induced cough, as well as vaccination programmes for well children, those with weakened immunity, and travel-related immunisation.
