Dr. Imad El Majzoub

Dr. Imad El Majzoub is the chair of the Accident and Emergency Department at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi. He trained in emergency medicine at the American University of Beirut and the University of Texas in Houston, and brings six years of clinical experience to his role.

Dr. El Majzoub specialises in oncologic emergency medicine—caring for cancer patients who present with acute medical crises. His work focuses on resuscitation techniques, emergency management of cancer-related complications, and integrating palliative care principles into emergency department practice. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on emergency medicine, oncology, and end-of-life care.

His leadership roles include associate director of the emergency medicine residency programme and chair of the peer review committee for the emergency department.
