Dr. Ahmed Gouda

Dr. Ahmed Gouda is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Burjeel Medical Center in Abu Dhabi, bringing over 20 years of clinical expertise in digestive health and liver disease. He completed his medical degree in 1999 and earned a Master's in Internal Medicine from Ain Shams University in Egypt in 2010, followed by specialist training at the National Hepatology and Tropical Medicine Research Institute in Cairo. He holds fellowship credentials from the Egyptian Board of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and a European Diploma in Clinical Nutrition.

Dr. Gouda specializes in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy, upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, and treatment of gastrointestinal bleeding through techniques such as variceal banding and glue injection. He also performs non-surgical endoscopic procedures for weight management, liver ultrasound imaging (fibroscan), and fluid drainage procedures (paracentesis). His clinical focus includes viral hepatitis management, inflammatory bowel disease, and colorectal cancer screening—he served as the Colorectal Cancer Screening Coordinator at Ruwais Hospital.
