Dr. Maha El-Shalakani

Dr. Maha El-Shalakani is a senior specialist radiologist with over a decade of clinical experience and a PhD in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology from Ain Shams University. She practises at Saudi German Hospital and holds a UAE DHA licence as a specialist radiologist. Her training and qualifications span medical school, postgraduate radiology degrees, and advanced specialist certification.

Dr. Maha specializes in breast and female imaging, with extensive hands-on expertise in mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and gynaecological ultrasound (including transvaginal and obstetric scanning). She performs ultrasound-guided procedures such as biopsies and fluid drainage. Beyond her core focus, she has broad experience across all major radiology fields: she interprets large volumes of CT, MRI, and PET/CT studies for neurological, chest, abdominal, and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as Doppler studies, thyroid and neck imaging, vascular imaging, and conventional fluoroscopy including gastrointestinal and gynaecological procedures.

Dr. Maha combines clinical precision with academic training and a patient-centred approach, supporting accurate diagnosis across routine and complex imaging cases.
