Dr. Sandhya Rani

Dr. Sandhya is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with 30 years of clinical experience. She trained at Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam and completed her Diploma and MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada (Andhra University). She achieved MRCOG (Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK) in 2006 and FRCOG (Fellowship) in 2018. After completing her specialist training, she worked at a major maternity and paediatric referral hospital in Kerman, Iran, where she built expertise in managing obstetric emergencies, complex pregnancies, and gynaecological procedures alongside ultrasound scanning. Since 1991 she has been based in Abu Dhabi, working across leading private healthcare facilities.

Dr. Sandhya's clinical focus spans infertility and assisted reproductive technology, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), family planning and contraception, abnormal vaginal bleeding, menopausal health, and antenatal care. She performs keyhole surgery (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy), colposcopy, and specialised ultrasound. She is trained in managing high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies, and has additional training in perineal repair and reproductive endocrinology.
