Dr. Catherine Kellett

Dr Catherine Kellett is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Mediclinic City Hospital in Dubai, bringing over 30 years of clinical and academic experience. She trained at Oxford University, where she completed her medical degree in 1995, and subsequently trained in orthopaedic surgery through the Oxford postgraduate programme. She has also completed fellowships in Geneva and Toronto, and held consultant positions in the UK before relocating to the Middle East.

Dr Kellett's clinical expertise encompasses hip and knee surgery, including joint replacement (both cemented and uncemented), partial knee replacement, revision procedures, and minimally invasive techniques. She is skilled in knee arthroscopy, cartilage and meniscal repair, and arthritis surgery. She also treats sports injuries, carpal tunnel problems, trigger finger, and foot and ankle conditions. Her international experience includes research collaborations with the Mayo Clinic and University of Toronto, leadership roles in medical education in the Maldives, and work in China.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr Kellett serves as Associate Professor of Surgery at Mohammed Bin Rashid University in Dubai. She has authored over 30 publications and contributed chapters to nine textbooks, and is recognised as a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She is fluent in English and French.
