Dr. Ali Rasmi Ibrahim

Dr. Ali Rasmi Ibrahim is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist and Director of Anesthesia at American Hospital Dubai. With over 18 years of experience in anaesthesia and critical care medicine, he trained extensively in the UK and Australia, completing his specialist training in 2008. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) and holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) from the Royal College of Anaesthesia in London. He previously worked as a Consultant Anaesthesiologist and Critical Care physician at Aintree University Hospital NHS Trust in Liverpool, where he gained broad exposure across adult, paediatric, cardiac and obstetric anaesthesia.

Dr. Ibrahim specialises in general anaesthesia for both adults and children, regional anaesthesia with ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, and management of difficult airways. He is skilled in total intravenous anaesthesia (TIVA) and ultrasound-guided placement of central venous catheters.
