Dr. Mahmoud Sleem

Dr. Mahmoud Sleem is an Associate Staff Physician in the Anesthesiology Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Hospital Care Institute. He completed his medical degree at Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine in Egypt, followed by residency training in anesthesia and surgical intensive care at Benha University, where he earned a Master's degree. He then completed two specialized fellowships in the United States—one in advanced perioperative transplant critical care and another in solid organ transplant and vascular anesthesia at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. With 13 years of clinical experience, he has worked across the Middle East providing anesthesia for diverse patient populations and surgical cases.

Dr. Sleem specializes in perioperative care, including general anesthesia and ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks. His training gives him particular expertise in managing patients undergoing complex transplant procedures and vascular surgery, where specialized anesthetic techniques are critical to patient safety and surgical success. He brings a combination of international training standards and regional experience to his practice.
