Dr. Dr.Taher Mohamed Ali

Dr Taher Mohamed Ali is a consultant neurosurgeon with over 12 years of experience treating brain and spine conditions in both adults and children. He completed his medical degree and residency training at Cairo University, followed by a Masters degree and Doctorate in Neurosurgery in 2019. He worked as a lecturer and consultant neurosurgeon at Cairo University hospitals and leading private hospitals in Egypt before moving to the UAE in 2023, where he has worked at Tawam Hospital, Sheikh Tahnoun Medical City, and now Al Zahra Hospital Dubai.

Dr Taher performs hundreds of surgeries yearly across all aspects of neurosurgery, with particular expertise in minimally invasive spine procedures, robotic surgery, endoscopy, brain and pituitary tumour surgery, spine tumours, head and spine trauma, and paediatric neurosurgery. He completed advanced fellowship training in neuro-endoscopy from Germany and holds the AO Global Spine Diploma from Switzerland, reflecting his commitment to evidence-based, minimally invasive techniques.

He is an active researcher and peer-reviewed journal contributor in neurosurgery, and serves as a reviewer for several prestigious neurosurgery publications. Dr Taher is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for his patients.
