Dr. Mohammed Sheikh Sobeh

Dr. Mohammed Sobeh is a vascular, endovascular, and transplant surgeon with over 35 years of experience in general, vascular, and transplant surgery. He completed his medical degree at the University of Bristol in 1982 and trained in the UK, serving as a consultant in general, vascular, and renal transplant surgery at The Royal London and St. Bartholomew Hospitals from 1998 to 2007. He is accredited by the Specialist Training Authority in general surgery with a sub-specialization in vascular surgery and holds fellowship credentials from the Royal College of Surgeons of both Edinburgh and England.

Dr. Sobeh is recognized as one of the early pioneers in endovascular surgery, combining open and minimally invasive techniques to treat vascular, lymphatic, and venous conditions. He has particular expertise in varicose veins using modern methods including glue closure (Venaseal), laser therapy, radiofrequency ablation, and sclerotherapy. His clinical focus includes peripheral arterial disease, aneurysm repair, renal transplant surgery, venous insufficiency, diabetic foot complications, and lymphatic disorders. His research and publications on vascular restenosis and endovascular surgery have appeared in leading international conferences and medical journals.

Dr. Sobeh has built a substantial clinical practice in the UAE, founding Dubai Healthcare City's first private vascular surgery clinic in 2005 and establishing a dedicated day surgery centre in 2013. He also founded a medical centre in Muscat, Oman, and now practices at Emirates Hospital Group locations in Motor City and Jumeirah.
