Dr. Stavros Mastronikolas

Dr. Stavros Mastronikolas is a consultant periodontist with more than 15 years of clinical experience. Born in Chicago, he earned his Dental Degree (D.D.S.) from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2003 and completed his specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery at the University of Maryland-Baltimore in 2007. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology in 2011, a credential reflecting advanced knowledge and skill in periodontal science. Before joining HealthPoint in Abu Dhabi, he worked at a leading dental clinic in Dubai for six years.

Dr. Mastronikolas specializes in periodontics and dental implantology, treating conditions ranging from gum disease and bone loss to complex implant placement. He practices evidence-based dentistry and employs a scientifically driven approach to patient care. Since joining Mubadala in 2019, he has instructed and mentored training dentists in the Dental Internship Program.
