Dr. Israa Ali Altyeb Suliman

Dr. Israa Ali Altyeb Suliman is a specialist paediatrician with over seven years of experience treating children from birth to 18 years old. She trained in Sudan, where she completed her medical degree and specialist qualification in paediatrics and child health from the Government Sudan Medical Specialization Board. Before joining Zulekha Hospital in Dubai, she worked at Alkhalil Pediatrics Hospital in Khartoum, Sudan, and served as an Assistant Professor in the Paediatrics Department at Omdurman Islamic University.

Dr. Israa has particular expertise in paediatric endocrinology, having completed a fellowship at the Paediatrics Endocrinology Department at Gaafer Ibn Auf Tertiary Hospital and the Sudanese Childhood Diabetes Center. During her training, she gained broad experience across general paediatrics, neonatal care (NICU), intensive care for children (PICU), tropical medicine, infectious diseases, gastroenterology, dermatology, and eye health in children. She is fluent in both English and Arabic.

She focuses on managing childhood diabetes, growth disorders, thyroid problems, and adrenal gland disorders. Dr. Israa is also interested in paediatric emergencies and places special emphasis on child development, nutrition, and overall wellbeing. She regularly provides health education and counselling to parents and caregivers to support their children's health.
