Dr. Eleanor McCarthy

Dr Eleanor McCarthy graduated from the University of Edinburgh Medical School in 2005, where she also completed an intercalated degree in Sport and Exercise Medicine. She trained as a GP in Northern Ireland and Scotland, gaining her MRCGP qualification in 2012, and worked across a broad range of specialties including general medicine, paediatrics, geriatrics, ear–nose–throat, obstetrics and gynaecology, and dermatology. She moved to Dubai in 2016 and has since worked as a Consultant Family Medicine doctor.

Dr McCarthy takes a holistic approach to healthcare, treating patients of all ages and life stages. She manages acute medical problems, chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid disorders and asthma, as well as women's health and mental health concerns. Her broad training across multiple specialties equips her to manage a wide range of common health issues.
