Dr. Rowena Benita Sibiya

Dr Rowena Benita Sibiya is a paediatrician with a strong commitment to holistic child health. She graduated from Nelson Mandela School of Medicine in 2007 and completed her formal paediatric training at UKZN, obtaining her Diploma in Child Health (2012), Fellowship in Paediatrics (2017), and Master's in Medicine (2019). Her clinical experience spans major children's hospitals in South Africa, including Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital, where she was exposed to diverse paediatric pathologies, and Harry Gwala Regional Hospital, where she worked as a paediatric consultant. She also conducted research in HIV and ran a private paediatric practice.

Dr Sibiya's clinical focus covers newborn care and infant guidance, childhood immunizations, allergies and asthma in children, respiratory conditions, and child growth and development monitoring. She is particularly skilled in supporting families through early infancy, helping parents navigate developmental milestones, nutrition, and vaccination schedules.
