Dr. Oksana Melnyk

Dr. Oksana Melnyk is a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology at Medcare Women & Children Hospital in Dubai. She trained extensively in Ukraine, completing her medical degree and specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology at leading institutions including Bogomolets National Medical University and Shupyk National Healthcare University in Kyiv. She holds a PhD in Medicine from Shupyk, and has pursued advanced training internationally in colposcopy (Whittington Hospital, London), minimally invasive surgery (Avellino, Italy), genetic disease diagnostics (Berlin), and laser aesthetics (Toronto).

With 23 years of clinical experience, Dr. Melnyk has built a strong career in both general obstetrics and advanced gynaecological surgery. She previously led the Maternity Block and Department of Gynaecology at Kyiv Maternity Clinic #2, and served as an associate professor at Shupyk's postgraduate training academy before relocating to the UAE. Her surgical repertoire includes keyhole procedures such as laparoscopic cyst removal, ovarian drilling, and reconstructive tubal surgery, as well as hysterectomy, fibroid removal, and plastic reconstruction of genital organs. She also performs womb-scope procedures (hysteroscopy) with polyp removal and fibroid treatment, cervical cone biopsy, and loop electrosurgical excision for precancerous lesions.
