Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Mjallal

Dr. Ahmad Mjallal is a consultant nephrologist with nearly 11 years of experience across leading tertiary care hospitals in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. He trained in internal medicine and nephrology at Beirut Arab University, and holds his medical degree from the University of Damascus. His clinical expertise spans general nephrology, intensive care kidney medicine, and transplantation.

Dr. Mjallal diagnoses and manages the full spectrum of kidney conditions, from common to complex cases. His key areas include acute and chronic kidney failure, dialysis and other blood-filtering treatments (CRRT and plasmapheresis), infectious urinary tract diseases, high blood pressure, and electrolyte imbalances. He provides comprehensive care before and after kidney transplants. In Lebanon, he established and ran a dialysis centre; in Riyadh, he specialized in critical care nephrology and treated many cases of glomerulonephritis (kidney inflammation).
